News from Planado team
When you deal with a large number of clients on a daily basis, the chances that one of them decides to sue you are quite tangible. Even if you provide top-notch quality services there’s no guarantee everything goes smoothly in 100% of cases.
However, sometimes client’s claims are just not valid or adequately supported, while your best practice as a service provider can be to document all the details of client orders that can serve as evidence in court should the need arise.
With Planado, this is as easy as pie. And here’s why.
The carpet case
One of our clients is a dry cleaner “Dry-cleaning Factory” specializing in cleaning expensive carpets. The cost of a carpet can exceed several tens of thousands of dollars, and in case of damage, financial claims can be sweeping.
Recently, one of the dry cleaner’s clients went to court and filed a claim stating that their carpet had changed its color after dry cleaning. The dry cleaner submitted an expert examination to the court, in which an expert analyzed the details of the customer’s order in Planado and came to the conclusion that when the carpet had been handed over to the dry cleaner, it already had the defect.
The “before and after” photos were attached to the order. They were stored in the Planado cloud in the original resolution, and so could be examined by an expert at any time. This helped the dry cleaner to fight off the claim which exceeded $13.500! It was not even necessary for them to contact Planado to convey the examination. All the documents and data available to our client were enough for the examination to have legal force in court.
This is a good example of how one Planado license worth $29 per month insures the company against million-dollar losses and prevents repeated on-site visits.
An all-in-one solution for field operations
More than 20 employees of the dry cleaner visit customers to carry out on-site cleaning or take carpets to the dry cleaner. Planado helps field service companies not only in court but also (and mainly) in their daily operations, allowing them to do the planning, scheduling and remotely monitor the quality of each employee’s work.
For example, if you provide cleaning services, like our client above, you can set up a template for each type of item and cleaning technique and create a checklist comprising all the required steps, none of which can be skipped by an employee. Reducing the risks of poorly done work allows you to maintain a good reputation, develop faster, and control freshmen better.
Besides, your field workers will have full access to all the guidelines and history logs which is always useful when on assignment. The photo reporting feature can be of great help because it helps managers assess the quality of the work done and therefore ensure a high level of services.
As you can see, Planado offers more than just a working schedule. This is a profound tool for your business development enabling you to maintain the high quality of the services, scale up easily and secure yourself against possible clients’ claims.
